Born by the sea in Sidmouth, The Bagel Shop is all about generous food, seriously good coffee and chill times.
We load our bagels properly, pour our own Red Stack Coffee and work with brilliant West Country producers wherever we can.

In the beginning
The Bagel Shop was founded by Dan, Josh and Amelia by the sea in 2020. Three people, one little store and a pretty simple idea: good food, good coffee and good people.
Sidmouth has always been home. Sunny mornings, sideways rain, packed summer streets and sleepy winter days - we’re here for all of it. Serving locals, dog walkers, beach crews, day-trippers and anyone else who wanders in hungry.
A few years, a lot of bagels and plenty of good times later, we rolled along the coast to Lyme Regis and brought a little seaside energy to Exeter too.
We’ve grown. Things have changed. But the important stuff hasn’t.
